The Handsome Family, Honey Moon (Carrot Top)
As if the sugary sweet title wasn't enough, the Chicago alt-country duo of Brett and Rennie Sparks turn to love songs on Honey Moon, the follow-up to 2006's Last Days of Wonder.
This is slightly uncharted territory for a pair that's carved out a living penning tunes about broken dreams and death. Those always went down smooth — a dash of cleverness or a thin line of optimism helps the seriousness go down.
Honey Moon is the eighth studio album for Carrot Top from the pair.
